Excelling in Procrastination

I always have the best intentions. I even put a goal date/line in front of me to help with motivation. the problem is… I excel in procrastination.

I am an expert in putting one project aside for a bit of a break only to move forward to another new project instead of back to finish the old.

Luck O' the Irish table runner

Here is a good example…

Last year on March 14th I posted about this shamrock table runner. Even declared that I was going to have it done by 17. Confession time. It hasn’t been touched and still looks just like this. No batting or backing has been added or quilting done.

NTF Easter hexie 3

Yesterday I was digging through the sewing room shelves and out popped some Spring themed hexies I was playing with last year. I loved them. Still do.

And again, had every intention of getting these put together as a table topper for our Easter dinner. Didn’t happen last year and again…not going to happen this year either. We will be having dinner without a cheery centerpiece.

And then, oh dear… I ordered this

NTF Bonnie Hunter Scrappy

and …well… I see many more projects and UFO’s in my future.

Wishing all a Blessed and Happy Easter

With or Without a Cheery Table Topper…

Until next time… Happy Stitching….
